VICTORIAN MUSEUM
In 1920, with the impending sale of Spring Plains, John Duigan offered the Duigan Aeroplane to the Institute of Applied Sciences, as the Victorian Museum was then known. It had remained in the shed which had been constructed to house it since the Duigan brothers travelled to England in 1911, to further their aeronautical knowledge.
